Elise Powell of West Palm Beach Adds New Family Traditions

Elise Powell of West Palm Beach loves old family traditions and encourages new ones to begin. There is so much joy and fun when gathering with family events. It does not matter if it is the holidays, a graduation, a wedding, or just an impromptu picnic, adding new family traditions will make an event fun.

Elise Powell of West Palm Beach has included new family traditions to her clan. They love to celebrate a Happy Half-Birthday. This could be fun for any member, but especially the little ones. It does not have to be grand. It can be just as simple as making a card and reminding the loved one that it is only six more months to their actual birthday.

Another new family tradition to include could be Backward Day. Elise Powell of West Palm Beach loves to participate in this event. Make this a day of fun!  Put a different spin on the day by having breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast. Kids will enjoy making up the rules to make this the best day ever.

A tradition that Elise Powell of West Palm Beach would like to suggest is a toy swap. This toy swap is different and unique because children will swap toys and leave them for Santa Claus to take. Have the kids in your family leave Santa Claus toys which they no longer use to be repaired by the elves in the North Pole. It will teach children to learn how to pay it forward. Leaving a toy (along with milk and cookies) for Santa Claus to give to another child will bring more joy to the spirit of Christmas.

Elise Powell of West Palm Beach says that starting new family traditions are just as fun and entertaining as celebrating the old ones.
